Have to go out and organise a new Mini 5 dr today. Should I be able to get more than 10 per cent discount or are they still stuck around this figure? That is all I could get two years ago when buying a Countryman.

The new 5 door as literally only just come out. On the F56 (3 door) iv seen discounts from £0-£1500 max and that was on a showroom car to hit a target. Some dealers are still doing 0% on F56

so 10% is going to be very hard Might be worth using some one like broadspeed they say £800+ on a cooper £1000+ on a S So you are looking at about 5%

10% on countryman would have been because it was a few years old and can do some deals.

We got about 5% & a few freebies on our new Countryman Cooper S with Sport Package (basically a JCW without the extra 20bhp).

This however was a showroom car & had been spec'd by the DP to be his next car so it did have most of the extensive options list ticked.

Being brutally honest with regard to the new 5dr, whilst i think it's a great idea, the side profile takes a lot of getting used to as that rear door (to me) really does look like an after thought. The practicality is great & a good use of the interior space, but those back doors just look a bit strange.
