I sleeved my first Tuscan back in summer 2000 and enjoy the extra pops and bangs, thinking I would do the same to the S. Anyone know where I can source the appropriate 51mm OD stainless steel tube somewhere in the Woking area?

thanks

Ok got the S home now and delighted with it but still keen to get the exhausts sleeved, does anyone know anywhere I can get the tube in a meter length if it by mail order?

thanks

I thought about sleaving but decided to get desperate 'laud' pipes so I could change them easily .but I remember tube was easily availible on good old eBay

I used to run sleeved standard cans until one of them broke the weld on the rear silencer box due to the weight and fell off.

I replaced them with CCCs and the difference was amazing. Not only are they a fraction of the weight, but the sound (along with the pops and bangs) is so much better. Couldn't believe I ran the car for over a year without them. Decided there and then that it's the first thing you need to change when buying a Tuscan!

Mike,
A google or yell.com search for stainless tube at 51mm OD (thin wall) near Woking has got to produce something?

The only problem is that unless the metal merchant has something in stock, you might have to buy 3 or more metres?

Although they should be an interference fit, you might have to get a couple of tacks on the end to hold them/stop them rattling
