1.8VVC Track rod end

Hi to everybody,

there are several months that I'm trying to find a track rod end like mine, but no way..

Also the Swiss dealer that made my car on '99 is not able to provide me the same item..!!

Could some one help me ?

Mmmmm, I'm not lucky.
My question:

I know that the standard track rod end is black, but on my caterham all
the steering staff is chrome/nickel finished, and also the shape looks
different from mine. Did you see my picture ?

It is the same, our picture shows it with a shroud around it. This can
be removed and then it is the same product.

There is only one track rod end fitted to all Caterhams from all years. Unless you have a rose joint conversion or something.....

Yours appear to have been chromed, which is a bad idea as it makes the casting brittle.

It's correct that on our car both side are with Right Hand Thread ?

Arnie is right only one type other than his lovely specials, standard ones available from Caterham. Chrome plating looks good if you are into classic cars but not something you need on a performance Caterham.
