I'd say that was quite lucky. I thought it would be more than that.

No excusing that shocking driving but does anyone else think that the camera car overtake looked particularly slow?

A post of mine being resurrected? I feel honoured.

I thought he got off quite lightly too, thought it would be a ban for sure after they found the driver.

Didn't appear to be any slower than the vehicle overtaking in front.

There isn't a requirement to overtake at a particular speed - only to do so legally and safely.

It also tends to be forgotton that limits for vehicles that are towing, buses, and those rated at between 3 and 7.5 tonnes are lower than cars on a single carriage way road.

I watched it again and you may well be right. Dash cams certainly seem to be the way forward for the good motorists on the road.
