Tuscan vs Tesla S
Discussion
Just appeared as a recommended video on YouTube. Those Tesla Model S's are pretty fast!

Don't know if the delayed start for the Tuscan made much of a difference, but it's not a bad time compared to some of the other cars tested. I guess one of the big disadvantages (for timed runs) against modern metal is the gear change speed when compared to a flappy paddle box.

Well, I happen to own both - absolutely identical to those in the test too, being a Tuscan 2S and a Tesla S P85+. I can verify that the Tesla walks all over the Tuscan from a standstill, and in fact from anything up to about 50mph. Driving it around down is just hilarious. There has actually become something called "The Tesla Grin" - Google it!
However at any higher speeds, the Tesla runs out of puff compared to a supercar. My Tuscan is in a different league away from 60 or 70.
And of course it sounds a million times nicer.
All-in-all though, they are both utterly amazing cars, and I love them both in so many different - and similar - ways.
