I've just had a look on the TVR website and no news is good news but that was back in April... Has anyone heard ANY news? I've not been on for a while so I might have missed some posts regarding this ...

Cheers

I know someone who spoke to the main man last week.

He wouldn't let a word squeak by.

I should imagine that security regarding any info at all is paramount.

If,......a new TVR arrives, it should be to a fanfare at a prime location with the press not having a clue about the new release.

Let's hope it's not a leccy hatchback getmecoat

Just been on the TVRCC website.

Hints at some sort of "statement" to be made over the course of the NEC Classic show (from today thru' to Sunday).

Last year, at the NEC, Les Edgar visited on the Saturday and spoke at length to the people manning the display...but would not be drawn on future plans.

Agree that any 'launch' should be accompanied by some fanfare and to the motoring press. However, Mr. Edgar must be aware that initial sales will likely be to existing TVR owners/TVRCC members? IMHO.

There is an update on the website relating to a new TVR Parts site. This was added yesterday.

Something still doesn't seems hugely professional though.

OK I thought the address was rather close to their location and that wasnt a coincidence. Wonder if the 'factory' support will extend or restrict their business...

This is great news and the fact they are giving Tvrcc members a wee discount is ace! A new chassis for the cerbera in that list would be nice some day wink

Hmmm I'm not a car club fan and so am not a member (hereby inviting abuse :-) ). Surely tvr will find it a bit challenging - like a new management team having to placate a union or workers council. So I guess they will tell tvrcc what they want to hear (so long as it generates £s).

I sincerely hope the revitalised TVR is into generating ££'s, they may even consider making a profit, how else are the going to run a business that will survive and grow which is what we all want, isn't it ??

Not really sure how the discussions would go between the owners and the TVRCC would go - most of the folk from the club that would interface with the owners have little first hand experience of the latter products?

Hope it goes somewhere with the new owners, although I feel I've bought my last new one ....

Which part of what I said do you think was not appropriate?

The first part suggested to me that you meant committee members would not be best placed to talk to the owners of TVR..... or am I getting the wrong end of the stick there...... confused
