I've been putting off this question as I don't want to sound like the simpleton that I am, BUT...
Does the Cerb have a glove box?
Where do you all keep your car paperwork?
In Japan, you have to keep title, registration and proof of insurance.
I have mine in a ziplock bag in the trunk... err ahhh boot, but there has to be a better way.
Anyone?
Oh yeah, 3 days ago we fitted the Powers Aluminum radiator and uprated fans as well as changing out the cats... new thermostat, oil temp sensor (broke the old one in pervious steering rack repair), Gearbox pivot bush and gear lever circlip (what a pain in the rumplebumpy!) and a fresh helping of Royal Purle 10W40 synth oil.
That was a fun day, and it seems to idle at about 75 where it used to be at 85 with the fans in 'Always ON' position... although it is a bit cooler these days.
Got a GoPro and will be taking vids of some spitited driving in the near future.. HAD to buy an external mic to tape on the rear end above the exhausts for the six screaming!

The Cerb is a little short on internal storage, there is no glove box or equivalent. If you can't keep your paperwork in a door pocket then the boot is probably the best place. The other alternative might be a stout resealable plastic document pouch with a strip or two of sticky back Velcro on one side that you could slip under the seat.

That is roughly what I do when driving abroad, but there is no requirement to carry any paperwork in the UK. No car docs, no driving licence, identity card or anything, it's not a police state yet.Hi Scotty,
Here in the UK we are advised not to carry the registration doc's in the car, bacause if the car is stolen the thief would then also have your doc's which are proof of ownership. If you have to carry them in the car, what stops a thief stealing your car and claiming that he bought it from you ligitimately?

Good point and well taken, although crime does happen here,(I lost a few grand in tools when my garage was broken into years ago)you need a vehicle transfer document to actually change it over to another person. I know some folks carry a copy of the documents in case the fuzz pull you over and want to see your information. Car thieft is pretty rare here, unless you happen to leave the keys in the car and in a busy parking lot, then you might find it missing for a while... well until they were done with a joy ride and you would find your car parked on the side of the road somewhere. The TVR would be safe as almost no one knows how to start it, let alone just getting into it.. hehe

Mandatory docs here in Lux too, so I keep them in a leather wallet in the nearside boot well (under the took pack).
I prefer this idea as (in my mind) it gives potential thieves another hurdle to jump in order to access the legal ownership.
(Actually the Lux authorities have played a blinder here by having a two-part log book. One part must be carried in the car whilst the second part can be retained at home)

Here in Okinawa, a small island of Japan, about 2 hours in plane from the mainland, the car culture is still pretty lively.
Modified Drift cars, drag cars and even little Kei cars (660cc engine mini cars) are all over so seeing a Cerbera, although rare, doesn't get alot of fanfare.
My buddy was following me home from the shop where we worked on it the other day and he mentioned how many people just stared, but I don't notice it much.
I mean, I often get the double looks and the guy in my rear view mirror mouthing "What the hell is that?" but nothing like when I first saw one on the road.
I stopped in traffic and just watched it as it drove the other way, cars honking at me to go, but I didn't until it was gone... I was in love.
Oh yeah, the other interesting bit that I'm sure you guys can relate to is the guy zooming through traffic to catch you, just to sit in your blind spot for a few minutes then floors it as if you were racing that .......(insert local car driven by young boy racers)and actually was going to waste your gas on him.. hehe.
Its never an actual sports car or an otherwise fast car either, just something with wheels and an engine.
I would say there are possible 3 Cerbs on the island, mine, the one I saw in the 90's and another "up north" as a few guys have said they have seen.

Any who... loving the car even more now, its cooler, faster and louder.. Holy snaps and bangs its so lovely to drive.
