Cheap car wanted - Brighton area.

OK I'm in a pickle. My car is buggered so I've had to rent one for the last week and I've tried my damnest and cannot find a reliable runabout.

Does anyone know of anyone who maybe selling a car that will cope with a 50 mile commute or a cheap garage in the Brighton area?

Ideally want 2.0 or under that will do 40mpg+ on a run but will keep up with motorway traffic.

I'm in a pickle so Amy help appreciated.

Have a nosey (I was going to say drive, but if your current car is buggered might....lol) along the A23 at Patcham, specifically just before the big BP roundabout. Always cheapo cars for sale there

Yeah I see those cars most mornings but always dubious about buying from someone who advertises at the side of the road.

As it happens I bagged a very boring but hopefully very reliable Honda Civic Type S.
