Sorry to piss on your matches but I seem to remember that Simon was happy to give anyone a 'demo' ride but TEST drives were out due to insurance restrictions. Of course I may be wrong but that's highly unlikely - ask the wife biggrin
I think I remember Simon arranging for adamfawsitt to be allowed a TEST drive of the V12VS at Rockingham, although it was by special arrangement. What I do vividly remember after a particularly testing test drive session the thing being driven back onto the paddock car park where having been switched off, it stood sounding like a dish of 'sizzling beef' with a heat haze that could clearly be seen rising way above the car! Adam, good man I thought.

We don't want rides, we want drives. Can the dealership bring something else to the occasion like food if they are bringing show cars, otherwise they are not one of the crew of PH's attending the event ? smile

yes The Aston sat nav is completely useless at helping you find your way around them though! Last time I went to Cadwell in it, it tried taking me down a random farm track frown

Here is a video that provides good detail of the Cadwell Park layout.

Rather more frantic than you polite participants will be, I am sure.
With V8 or V12 power and smooth driving, the lap times may not be too different though.

You can now see what I was referring to, when I mentioned the varied nature of this exciting circuit.

What a fantastic video Dewi. The circuit looks amazing, but what impresses me with that sort of racing is the conservation of energy. Brilliant.

Dewi what a brilliant video, thank you. Loving the Ford Anglia, my mum had one. Can't wait to get there now. As an enthusiast you MUST come along as you will clearly be welcome in anyone's passanger seat with your superior knowledge yes
