Gentlemen thanks for your kind expressions of gratitude, it was rather a wonderful experience. A unique track layout, undulating, twisting, very busy.

Looking down from the Club house and being able to see cars less than 100yds away pop into view over the mountain crest then in less than 5 secs pass just 20 yds below you before dissappearing again around the first of the Hall curves, whilst at the same time being able to see and hear Astons going full pelt along the start finish straight on the opposite side of the circuit was for me nothing less than breathtaking.

The icing on the cake was knowing the drivers and knowing exactly how much they are enjoying their Astons, it just doesn't get better than that.

PS: I do thank you for allowing Andrew to join us in his AC Cobra, that thing could shift! Also Cockers in his Audi, we are obligated under the human rights act to include him as being from an under privileged background,,,, not forgetting the Essex ugly mob that are not only his very good friends but also, in the main, share his surname. bow

Here is a clip from Cadwell...

A great piece of film SELON. Thanks for posting.

You are clearly enjoying your driving, and that lap time is an excellent 2:08.

You have a good camera position. Did you mount your GoPro, using the sucker cup somewhere on the dashboard?

I don't think you were using a remote microphone.

Hoping to see films from some of the other cars.

Thanks Jon. Sadly I think I saw somewhere on here that 1:23 was a good time smile

There must have been some much faster times around there...especially William, Sukh and Cockernee and...well everyone I think!

Those pesky Vantages were fizzing around quite quickly doing a lot of this as they passed me wavey

A limitation of the driver and not the machine, I can assure you! I think it was William, over lunch, who referred to my 'stabilisers' biggrin

Great fun. thumbup

I put the GoPro on the suction cup and put on the top of the ski slope ahead of the SatNav. Almost touching the window. Great position as it turned out. Being too excited to get on track I forgot to plug the mic in! Doh!

Some more footage in the next day or so to come, with more 'action'...

According to the data on my trackmaster APP, my son did a very creditable 1.57, but the old man did a sub 1.50 wink only just mind. Not that I was timing it whistle

So who was "in control" when it all got a bit squirrely/squeely into hall bends
There as a collective "woaaah...... ahhhh I thought he'd binned it" from the fence outside the cafe after lunch.

The Son....... Surely you didn't think it was me nono It kinda screwed up that session for him, he was watching the car in front, rather than his own brake points. By the time I had explained that he was a plonker we pulled in & discussed (by that I mean I told him he was a knob) and then he went out and drove much better.

Andrew, superb video, it is nice to see another car on track ahead of the camera car, adds to the feeling of a proper race track video,,,,if only I had realised you were there, if only. whistle

For Vesuvius Teaspoon was uncatchable Vilhelm, I tried and it wasn't safe. No excuses but your semi-slicks and my 16 stones brother gave me no chance. Which was a shame because we would both have enjoyed some sparring. yes
