El Gauchos has been mentioned to me for a steak dinner on the Saturday evening of our stay in York, any other suggestions?

Hi,

Bit of a drive out but Rythre Arms can't be beaten.
Not cheap but by far the best steak you'll ever eat.

You'll need to book.

The Whippet Inn is very good.

I don't rate The Rythre Arms at all.

It's also a bit of a trek to get to.

If that's the Argentinian place then it looks fantastic and smells great. Not been there but planning on i, couldn't get in last time.

Make sure you book, as they turn people away Fridays and Saturdays. The fillet is amazing.
