Audi Fixed Price Servicing
Discussion
So, the Audi UK website states they do fixed priced servicing for vehicles over 3 years old. Only restrictions are that the vehicle is not An RS, R8 or over 6 litres.
A major service is £365 including vat. This apparently includes oil and filter change, clean/change air filter, replace spark plugs, amongst other jobs.
I'm looking at getting a C6 S6 with the 5.2 v10 engine serviced. So do you think they will service this car under their fixed price scheme given that it needs 12 litres of synthetic, takes two air filters and needs ten NGK platinum spark plugs at between £10-£15 each? The vehicle clearly falls into the guidelines but I wonder if they'll try to wriggle out of doing the service.
I've emailed Audi customer services for clarification...

Talk to the dealer about the offer they are doing on buying the next two services at the same time.
I was about to book the major service at £375 fixed price for my 4 year old 3.0 Q7 but then they offered to include the next one as well for £399 all up - I think it is done through Audi Finance, just received the paperwork with 'Audi Service Plan' on it.
Same as you, I was sure there would be a catch, but I've yet to find it. I guess it depends how much extra work they find needs doing in the process...

Well just got mine back from it's major service to be told it has an oil-leak between the engine and the gearbox which is going to be a 25 hour job to do!
Fortunately I bought the extended 5 year warranty when ordering it from new so hoping this is all covered by Audi but don't have an answer yet...

I'm sure they'd honour that: If S cars were excluded, it would say.
The "service plan" cost for 1x oil service and 1x main service is "only" £399. But your car must be under 6 years old.
I didn't realize until just now, but they also offer price matching on parts/labour/tyres against a written quote: http://www.audi.co.uk/owners-area/servicing-mainte...

Yeah I've got email confirmation from customer services confirming they will honour the price on an S6 V10.
To make sure they replace rather than just clean the air filter, I may just damage them beyond reasonable repair prior to taking the car into service...
Good find on the price match too. Might get a price on a decoke and then get Audi to do it.

I was originally told our supercharged S5 wasn't covered, and was presented with a 'quote' for considerably more! Raised it with the service desk manager who confirmed it is covered under £399 for 2 years.
Ours will be due an s-tronic service by next June when it's due for an oil change etc. Pretty sure plugs will be due as well, although haven't checked the book. I will be triple checking exactly what is included and what they might exclude, and comparing that to alternatives, before I go ahead.

Might be different with Audi but VW service plans don't include the DSG / S-TRONIC oil and filter change.
Had a row with both SEAT and VW now that they won't do brake fluid change under their service plans. Apparently "change at 3yrs, then every 2yrs" isn't a schedule service item at all - it's a customer option. I think VAG have screwed up servicing - every time you approach the service department it feels like you're being scammed.
At least with the Merc service plan, if it's called for on their Electronic Service Sheet, then it gets done.

Are these Audi offers for a limited period? I am not due a service until Feb on the S4 but with these kinds of prices I don't want to miss out
Not specifically. But of course they could withdraw it or up the prices. If you "buy" a service plan now that covers you for your next two services, so typically 2 years...

Can't believe I missed this - that's so much cheaper than all the specialists quotes I have. At least 50% in some cases. To make sure they replace rather than just clean the air filter, I may just damage them beyond reasonable repair prior to taking the car into service...

Is it all dealers?

Should be - I intend to play a couple off to make sure I'm getting the most work done for the price, but that may not wash with them!Is it all dealers?
