Range Rover P38 what should alternator voltage read

Hi could someone tell me please what volts the alternator should read on a RR P38? Just had alternator regulator changed but gearbox fault still coming up intermitently. Car has a new battery. Getting volt readings of 14.1 on start up and dropping to 13.7.

Just to explain more, from cold start up 14.3v, then drive for 10 mins down to 14.1, then anther 10 mins down to 14.0v. After 30 mins to 13.6v and if turn all elecs on at this point, it will drop to 13.2v. When it goes to around 13.7v, I get a gearbox fault come up, so not sure if this is related? Battery is new and have just had the regulator done on the alternator. Please can someone tell me if the alternator is faulty by these readings and if this drop in volts is throwing up the gearbox fault? Thankyou

Hi, do you know at what point does the gearbox fault throw up the message when low volts?

Does anyone know what range of volts would trigger the gearbox fault on the message center?

Come join landyzone.co.uk its full of far more knowledgeable men than I.I had a 2001 v8 which threw up random gearbox faults and it turned out to be a faulty manufactured wiring harness, only discovered after replacing the gearbox twice.

Would that be the gearbox wiring harness?

Sorry I don't do mechanics, where abouts is the wiring harness, so I can see if there is anything visually?
