Mx5 advertised nearby £350

mot'd until august, rusty rear wheel arch, sill repaired for last mot, hood ripped.

Now i don't need another car but fancy having a go with mx5 , how fked is this likely to be bearing in mind he could scrap it for what £200.

Mmmmmmmmmm how long is a piece of string?

A couple of years ago I bought a Lancia HF turbo Martini special from a local scrap yard and after
a spot of welding and an MOT I made several hundred pounds profit, such finds are rare.
The car had original paint and decals and even the wing mirrors were perfect.

How handy are you with spanners and a mig?
Parts are relatively cheap so I say do it.
Like you say its worth 200 scrap. Probably a lot more of you break for parts.
At worst you have fun until the mot runs out and you loose 150!

Makes perfect man maths sense

Nooooo, you're best off going for my (nearly) rust free example in the classifieds. wink
(Albeit it's a little more than £350)

I've chickened out.

I don't need another car ( have 2 plus work van) and with a wet winter the jeep might come in useful.

Another ph'er i think is having a look at the mx5, i hope it's a st heap otherwise i'll be kicking myself wink
