Just about to get my Camaro back after shipping-in from the US and getting converted. Just wanted to find out if any regular meet-ups (US car specific?), and how people find out about them? I'm in SW London area but happy to travel if it means a run out!

thanks

every 3rd Sunday of the month there is a american car meet at krispy Kreme in New Malden, starts in the morning and goes on as long as there are people around. I am sure you will be welcomed in with your Camaro, plenty of other muscle cars around. is it an older or newer car?

Set one up! I'd be up for it, if only to ogle your ZL-1. You probably won't see many garage queens this time of the year though, although there was a good showing for the Yanks at the recent Goodwood Breakfast Club meet. There's something going on at Beaulieu this Sunday, Air Ambulance charity do, there'll at least be a pair of Mustangs there.

Oh really? I drive by that KK every now and again after work and use Champion Timber (next door) a fair bit, but have never been there on a w/e. The car park's not huge, how many cars are there on average and what's the meet's format? Does everyone pop inside for some goodies or site around in the car park having a chat?

The car park fills up and the road side on both sides too. Best to get there around 9-10am and get a space or you might not fit in the main parking. It's a bit of a free for all as far as I know nobody actually is in charge. Lots of people go along and plenty of folks to talk too about cars. I am hoping my viper is fixed by next meet so I can bring it along. The winter months don't put people off too much, although the summer meets are busiest.

Thanks for the information, guess I'll start with the New Malden meet-up and go from there....

gt500nick, it's a 2012 ZL-1 (an original would be nice!)

Very nice, I think someone else local has one as I saw one a few months back at the meet. See you next month
