Anyone have experience of a zinc plating company that does great work and doesn't misplace any parts ? I need some brake calipers plated and yellow passivated along with lots of small components in bright zinc and a few bits nickel plated.
Some place in the south east preferable. So much of the work is small irreplaceable bits that I would prefer to drop off and pick up.
Thanks

I just had all my stuff for the GK done by Hampshire Electroplating in Southampton, very pleased with the job, nothing lost, took 2 weeks, cost seemed reasonable.

Butterworths Regia , Albert rd, Ramsgate .
Old school and old established company , used them loads for chrome, zinc , gold and passivation for work stuff , drop off and collection yourself , private and trade .

I've used Albion plating at Partridge Green near Horsham for Chrome, don't know if they do Zinc.

It's bit difficult to find them so if you go make sure you have the exact details and their phone number - the never used to have a sign outside

Thanks all. Butterworths seems worth a shot as they are closest, and I'm paranoid about tens of tiny irreplaceable for multiple components bits getting lost.

Butterworths had no problems with the small items we used to send , contacts for AVO meters !
Also did lots of re-plating for trophies and ornamental plates, plus the regular motoring stuff .
