After a little incident a while ago I am now looking at potentially uprating the crank to a steel one rather than keep with the standard jobby. I am looking at upping the power to about 200bhp and was wondering what the benefits would be if I did go for a steel one? Is 200 bhp on a standard crank ok or would I be asking for future problems?

The engine is a 1.8 K originally with 140bhp but currently at 170bhp.

The stock crank should be fine at 200BHP.
