RE: PH Christmas extravaganza at Goodwood

The thing to do is to speak up if it's felt they're not delivering on expectations re circuit time & marshalling.
Two visits ago for me the marshalling was a disaster. I had all but one lap of one of my sessions stuck behind an antique which was struggling in damp conditions and couldn't do more than 75. Not a blue flag in sight. Behind me were 4 other vehicles. They never even mentioned the use of blue flags in the briefing.
We all should have petitioned the marshals' but sadly we didn't and we were served a shrug of the shoulders for those that did request a response to the situation.
Last time there I dealt with this issue myself where the car in front appeared not to be able to see anyone behind him at any point on the circuit. Between the exit of Lavant corner and Woodcote seemed to be a good place to dispatch these issues safely. Marshals never said a word and I did it more than once (so did others).
Hoping they'll be on the money this time, it's a great circuit to drive.

It is a great circuit to drive for sure but the marshals are pretty terrible. Surly doesn't begin to cover it - and they have a tendency to hand out bkings to paying (and how!) customers when they (the marshals) aren't even doing their job properly. As alluded to above, the consistency of the flag signals is the worst of any circuit I have driven.
At the previous Mercedes Benz World Sunday Service, the first 700 or so cars could park next to the track, however any extra could park in the car park. Here it says there are 750 spaces, but mentions nothing about extra parking. Does that mean if you aren't in the first 750 you can't go? Or will there be extra parking for people outside of the first 750?

Can anyone confirm that the 750 spaces are on the circuit or pit area or the car park inside the gates.
I only ask as I do not want to park in a field
Thank you
I would think that if you're in the 750, then you'll be parking either on the circuit or the paddock area behind, which has plenty of hard standing areas.I only ask as I do not want to park in a field
Thank you
There's also the car park to the right hand side as you enter Goodwood.

The staff are at the main gate and PH utilise all available space. So no name on the list no space to park. Hi guys n girls....I'm with a few others regarding parking in a field....it aint going to happen. Will burger/bacon van be open? We have had shed loads more than 750 cars before surely, one meet went from half way down Lavant straight all the way to Madgwick and all the paddocks and car parks.
