This is a tad worrying, they've racked up £997m in debt and hit their credit limit.

Far from unexpected, been heading downhill for quite a while!

I don't think trying to consolidate many of their smaller sme businesses into one major call centre is going to do them any favours either.

my mate was hired as a consultant on that call centre and "change management" and he's walked. says its doomed

Used to for pl insurance and wife still does. Will have to keep an eye on them.

Motor trade policy with NIG via Towergate - presume it's not a problem as the policy is with NIG (assuming Towergate have paid the premium)

the insurance will still be valid should the worst happen, but you would have to deal with NIG or find another broker to take the policy over

Was planning to anyway. Very dis-organised at last renewal. Thanks for the heads up.

honest offer, as you are a PH member. You can transfer it to our brokerage FOC until renewal. so you can judge our service levels, and then we shop about at renewal and find you the best deal.

I know that a few of our Professional Indemnity brokers have been left with some last-minute re-broking to do! Not a great thing for the market as a whole.
