Have you ever used your kill switch?
Discussion
I thought it was so you could stuff your mates while waiting at traffic lights. Wait for the lights to go green, hit his kill switch as you make off into the sunset laughing like a drain as he tries to get it restarted with a line of impatient traffic behind him. Bonus points if he's got a bike that has to be in neutral to start

This. Lol. One time used in anger when the whole gear linkage detached itself front the lever pivot point while at speed on a motorway on my Aprilia Falco - ultimately it did it a couple of time as either from the factory or lack of correct dealer PDI there was zero thread lock on the end of the linkage. Needed to bring the bike to a stop from warp speed and hold the clutch in stuck in 6th, since I couldn't get it out of gear right thumb hit the kill switch so I could release the clutch, get off the bike and rescue the linkage dangling off the gearbox.

How do you do that then? Pull clutch in, flip killswitch, free-wheel along for a bit then flip killswitch and hit the starter again?
really youve never done a poppit?carbed bike going allong a narrow street or tunnel is better hit kill switch(in gear do not alter throttle or pull clutch)wait a few seconds you slow down a bit due to engine braking, then put kill switch to on position and enjoy the bang

I've never done that! I might try it some time. I've seen a video of kids doing similar in a Peugeot 106, driving down the road, turning the ignition off and then coasting, firing the engine up again and cause the fuel to flash off with a bang.carbed bike going allong a narrow street or tunnel is better hit kill switch(in gear do not alter throttle or pull clutch)wait a few seconds you slow down a bit due to engine braking, then put kill switch to on position and enjoy the bang

I found low gear/high revs to make the best bangs.
I really do miss carbed bikes!
