When I picked my wedge up, 8 months ago there was someone in a gold(ish) silver 350i exact same as my car pulled up beside me on the motorway.

Still not figured out who it was

Had no idea where I was because phone sat nav died and I was just following the signs to go north

Some years back I had several incidences of strangers flashing me (lights, not boobs, alas). I thought maybe they were just all old car fans but the mystery was solved by accident one day when I drove down a road I rarely used and spotted an identical S1 Tasmin in the same shade of red, parked on a driveway.
I stopped, knocked on the door and chatted with the owner. I never saw or heard from him again but the car turned up on here a handful of years later when GrahamW bought it (from the same guy). By that time I'd moved on to the 390SE so we never had chance to get the two Tasmins together.
