Android music player

Hi all, looking for a decent FREE Android music player for my phone as the built in one is utter garbage!

VLC, plays every format plus almost all of today video formats. Very good equalizer with a lot of pre set settings plus abilities to set it you own way. You don't have to look for file location the software pick up everything stored in your phone.

It's not pretty to look at, but it sounds great and has more settings than any other alternative, plus it does gapless.

To me they always seem to have something annoying missing compared to what I've used on PC; this only lets you define playlists from directory browsing not filters, great otherwise though
