my OF is 5,1" just pop a cushion in the bucket and she drives it ok.
Thing with girls is they want to be able to see the bonnet for some reason !
the steering wheel comes forward, the buckets slides forward, it's a non issue for small people and imo a bigger issue with taller people as you cannot drop the bucket unless you take out the rollers and fix it in place, that then drops the bucket a bit more if you are >6 foot and want to wear a helmet.
F**K the cushion - she's not driving it - discussion over! Thing with girls is they want to be able to see the bonnet for some reason !

Funnily enough I like to see the bonnet too (effete I know)- and it rather defeats the objective of the buckets (to hold you in place properly) if you are sat on a cushion. But I only raise the point because Sarnie (long time ago I know),, or anyone else thinking of buying one might be vertically challenged too and might think that sitting on a cushion might not be to their taste. Could even be a woman - some I believe do drive quite well.Thing with girls is they want to be able to see the bonnet for some reason !
Not seen this one before, White,manual, black spyder wheels;

That does look bloody lovely though. And although I would prefer buckets, it would be nice to have heated seats in the winter!!http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/2015...

Expensive, thats OPC pricing but with a crap warranty, out of interest why did so many of these get fitted with sport seats? buckets where free, well not free but included with the car and most seem to have chosen standard sports seats, seems odd to me
There is the previously mentioned height adjust issue. But, for some, kudos doubtless plays a part in buying one of the more "hard core" limited edition models. But when speccing it quite a few soften things off - cruise controls, more comfy seats etc get fitted. I could certainly believe that, as a whole, the buyers of second hand versions of limited edition models are genuinely more "hard core" than the original purchasers. Hence the second hand demand for buckets, manual boxes etc. While as a bit of a tight-wad, I'm always very tempted by a freebie, I suspect in the case of the buckets they cost Porsche no more than the standard sports seats - so you aren't really getting better value (Porsche prices for seat "upgrades" are all over the place between the various models).

The Cayman R did not sell very well after it was launched so many cars were specced by the dealers who thought it would be easier to sell them in a usable spec for people using them as daily driver — Sports Seats are much easier to get in and out of and usually go hand in hand with PDK.Sarnie said:

No buckets or PCM would be deal breakers for me personally.
No Chrono, Xenon's or mention of AC either....
Looks nice though
It says AC in the advert. No Chrono, Xenon's or mention of AC either....

You can also see the Xenons in the photos?
Chrono can be fitted at an OPC cant it. Apart from the wart.
PCM is the NAV right? It would be nice, but not essential for me.

It doesn't have Xenon's, there no chrome washers in front of the lights. You can also see the Xenons in the photos?

PCM was a massive deal breaker for me personally, others less so I'm sure.

Oh really thanks for clearing that up. I wouldn't have know better until actually seeing the car! Not that I'm going to see it anyway.PCM was a massive deal breaker for me personally, others less so I'm sure.

It's Carrera white which must has been a PTS as I've never heard of it...
Its actually called Carrara white (pedantic), rather than the 911 namesake - it was a standard colour offered on the Cayman R and later cars can have the same colour in metallic or pearlescent I believe. I think the paint code is B4 as opposed to 0Q for white. Its a very bright white, makes my Diamond White XR2 look almost cream in colour even though it's just been painted.
