One thing you new buyers may wish to check and ask the dealer about before delivery is the colour of the dashboard. Many have a light colour, beige/ brown etc (mine is an Intens) and it reflects horrifically in the windscreen. Less of an issue currently. However I have seen an winter on a different forum who has had it changed for a dark one and I understood that was a recall/ warranty thing. So I would get that done before delivery and please do update here as to what response you get to the question!

I have ordered a front arm rest they will fit it free - seems essential in a none manual car.

Hopefully it looks like my Zoe will be delivered to the dealer tomorrow, ready for me late this week.

May have missed it earlier, what spec did you go for?

Mine was due at the dealership last week but is still in Southampton. Probably awaiting a smart repair guy to fix it biggrin

You get some useful extra storage with that too.. How much?

I'm still waiting on figures to be emailed over. One thing the dealer couldn't tell me was the lead time for getting the home charging point installed. Having the car there isn't much good if you can't charge the bloody thing up!

Same here, in the posh white with the posh wheels (I can never remember proper names!). Fingers crossed they both arrive at their respective dealers soon...

Anyone sorted insurance yet?
Is on my to do list but haven't asked for any quotes yet, so was wondering who others have used.

I've read some stuff on the web about having to insure the battery separately to the car!

That's all bks. Just insure the car for it's full value (before the government grant) and you are OK.

The Battery Hire agreement should state that the value of the battery is £6160.

This reduces each year by 10% on a pro-rata monthly basis from month 13.

As long as the insurance company understand that then you should be fine.

Just had word that it looks like mine is good for delivery to the dealer tomorrow. Do I drive it the 180miles back or get it delivered?

Has anyone got any recent Leaf deals they've managed to get? I'm looking at getting a Qashqai for the wife, so I'm trying to establish a baseline deal I should be able to get for a Leaf and see if they'll go any further if I'm looking at both.

Many thanks.

Arriva £230 protected no claims, I'm 37 with clean license, no accidents and a half decent post code.
As stated make sure the insurance know the value is the car plus the battery. Arriva seemed okay with this.

If it were me.....Delivered!

Wouldn't be so bad if we were in the middle of a balmy summer but getting stuck somewhere in the current climate would be st.

I've just confirmed mine with Sheffield.

Intens, Glacier White
7500 miles
£150 deposit
£155 per month (Battery+Car)

Includes delivery to Leeds. I'm gonna wuss out and get it delivered. Not through range anxiety, purely as it's convenient.

Looks like the Ecotricity "electric highway" is undergoing maintenance on the roads I'll be using, so assuming it can be delivered to me by the weekend I'm going to get it delivered.

understandable, but disappointing - it would have been a nice write up and a good introduction to the car....

I am hopeful mine arrives at the dealership today

I could easily collect it as it is only 52 miles home and Doncaster Moto services is at the 30 mile mark and has an Ecotricity rapid charger (that seems to be outside the scope of this week's maintenance plans)

Seriously tempted for one for the wife.

My only concern is around how much damage she can do to one in the two year hire period hehe

One thing I have done is buy an extra charge cable, I leave it on the cable storage reel on the charge box. Only reason is I can see me driving off having wound the one supplied with the car onto the cable storage & being left with no means to charge.
