Depending who you speak to there were between 50-85 RHD RT400's built.

They are a great car, I bought and sold quite a few of them.

Common fault is broken front springs.

What colour and spec is yours?

Heated seat - check relay? Check it's not been disconnected under the seat (maybe someone removed the seat and forgot to re-connect.)

Check the hose (UR20949).
After a while they can start weeping a bit.

I used to race with you under the Protech banner. 964 Carrera 2 in midnight blue. Dave Bennett bought my silver 3.2 Carrera Super Sport. You must remember. Chris raced the ex Guy Holmes 944 Turbo. Those were the days. Remember the super soakers smile

Hi Dunsley, as I understand it the R400 was a very limited special edition, only 6 being built. 3 were for the uk and three went to the states. They had uprated brakes and suspension and various bespoke elements. Of the three in the uk, one was red, one green and one blue. Which do you have and have you found out any more about them?
