PS4 prices around Xmas

In the position to buy now but not sure if it's worth waiting till after Xmas? Looking at bundle on game with far cry and last of us for £349. Anyone have any advice/knowledge?

The £399 deals at GAME probably seem the vest value at the moment, since they include 3 games (1 digital copy, and 2 disc games I think), plus the 12 month subscription to PS+, although Argos are doing the console, GTA & Far Cry 4 for £359.99. CEX are offering £38 trade in for Far Cry and selling FIFA 15 for £40, so might be an option?

Shopto have some good packages http://www.shopto.net/ps4/hardware-bundle/hardware... also the service is brilliant.

The reason the PS3 games dont work is completely different operating system as well as hardware.

Because the systems run completely different architecture. The only similarity is that they are both called Playstation. Think of it in the same way as 'why can't the PS4 run Xbox360 games' and you are close to the mark.

This will however be fixed when PSNow launches in Europe (possibly 2015) which will let you play older games, but this will depend on your internet connection and the pricing structure of the service.

I have looked at prices of consoles pre and post Christmas over the last few years and don't believe the Christmas offers can be beaten.
