Can't quite believe what I'm seeing, but just had a picture of someones tree up in their house on my Facebook feed. I'm as festive as the next bloke, but come on. It's slightly early, isn't it? Is this normal now?

Usually the first weekend in December or any time after that when not too busy.
This is a bit too early!

A week before it's going to die if you put it up much earlier.

Used to be after Princess Junior's birthday (16th December) now she's older, it's usually the first Sunday in December when Mrs Champers goes out shopping with her sister and comes home to a decorated house. The Princesses and I love doing it; it's great fun biggrin

I'm another 'never'. I always spend Christmas elsewhere, so it seems extra Festive when I arrive there having not had all sorts of lights and baubles at home.

One of my staff puts her artificial tree up in October at the latest.

We've started delivering decorated ones already at work, the main delivery season kicks off on Wednesday.

Dad goes into loft for Halloween dex, brings down Xmas dex at same time for convenience. That's the scenario round my town - we see Xmas dex up end of October. Everyone's fed up with them before Xmas day.

The boy was born on 7 December, so the tree will always come out of the loft on the eighth!

Was quite a relief when he was born as she was always whinging about getting decorations up in blooming November! Extreme solution mind you?

We're similar, my daughter's birthday's on the 6th, she keeps her cards up for a week, we put our tree up the first weekend after that. Has to be the weekend as that's when we visit the plantation where you pick your tree and it's cut down for you there and then.

Agree with 1st weekend of december. The tree tends to drop all its needles everywhere before Christmas day otherwise
