Had near miss yesterday.

Was on the road bike yesterday riding along a country lane when I head a car approaching at speed. I had just gone round a corner. Next thing I knew the car came round the corner, saw me and skidded out of control. I was well up the grass verge before he got near me as I thought this might happen. It was an old white Capri. I gave him the evil eye and shouted a few obsenaties and he tore off again. About a mile up the road I could see a load of stationary cars, then the same Capri came flying past me coming from the other direction with the side smashed in. I think he must have lost control on a corner and hit something and ended up facing the direction he had come from. I hope he has learnt his lesson. Road condition were ready bad around there yesterday what with rain, mud and leaves. Karma I guess. So if you know the owner of a smashed up while Capri from the Burton Upon Trent / Swadlincote area, say hi from me!

Probably just been stolen. Saw a similar thing a few years ago, with kids joyriding in an old Montego.

My brother had a Montego one summer in the mid 90s, there was no joy to be had in that hateful thing.
