Slightly clumsy title...

What song do you have versions of by the most different artists?

As far as I can tell, mine is 'The Hunter', which I have versions of by Albert King, Led Zeppelin and Danzig.

I'm sure someone is going to easily top that.

Tomorrow Never Knows

About eight versions I think, I play them one after the other.

You have to list the artists now - it's the rules. laugh

Alison Mosshart
Guillemots
Los Lobos
Manhattan Camerata
Nacao Zumbi
Said the Whale
Trouble

and of course the original, but I only play that in its original context.

I used to have Junior Parker's version too, but binned it.

Someone, somewhere, owns all of the covers of 'Unchained Melody' done by B-list TV celebs and TV talent show winners. If they were to post in this thread they'd be the clear winner.

A winner, and yet a terrible, terrible loser at the same time.

But if he or she doesn't post on this thread, he/she will only be the latter.

Surprised you don't have the version by Free.

I'm sure someone is going to easily top that.

DP had a lot of weird covers in their early years - Hush (albeit their version is now the best known), Help, Hey Joe, We Can Work It Out, Kentucky Woman, River Deep Mountain High and Lalena (a Donovan song).
