My son is due to end is MSA cadet kart racing at the end of this year. He's too old for cadets but too light for the next class up and too be honest we've both had enough of the big wallet racing even at club level. His racing has always been a hobby and the opportunity for both of us to have some fun at the weekend rather than being the next Lewis.

So now looking at what else we could do on a part time basis, perhaps once or twice a month that isn't going to break the bank but will provide some low cost fun, thrills and spills.

Have looked at autograss but neither of us have the mechanical/welding knowledge required. We're open to anything really so do you guys have any suggestions we could look at? We're based in Hampshire but would travel for our kicks! smile

Just buy a 125cc kart and do trackdays instead.

I didn't think the Clay Pigeon IKR would be checkbook at all, just think, a couple of years to go and you can join the lads and dads world of endurance karting smile
