Ideas for caricature model airliner please!
Discussion
I've been given the task of building a comedy airliner... something like this:
Due to all the curved sections I can't make one in wood; the only idea after that was to buy several different plastic kits and bodge them together... but that will cost too much and I'm not confident it would work.
Anything 1-2 feet long would be fine - anyone got any good ideas on how to make one please?

Isn't it going to end up looking like 5,000,000 little snowballs all stuck together? (and another 5,000,000 stuck all over my hands with static?!)
But I like the idea of carving something soft.
What about Oasis? How would I make it look smooth - a few coats of spray paint?

When I was a littl'un we made space helmets at school by blowing up a balloon, covering it in papier mache, and the popping the balloon once the paper had dried. It looked pretty good when we'd tidied up the face opening and sprayed it all silver!
Could you do something like that for the fuselage?

High-build primer will help smooth it over once you've got the shape right.
The kingspan idea is a good one.
