I'm staying at Orton Hall in Peterborough which is good hotel and has
private (and hidden away) parking.

I stayed there last year and it was about 10-15 mins from Burghley House
if I remember correctly.
Not the cheapest, but you can get a good room and meals included for 87
pounds or so if I remember correctly.

Hotel Booking info on the TVRCC forum.
I'm sure that will be a popular option again. Orton Hall is also nice (less than a mile from my office where I'm typing this!).
Last year quite a few people stayed in Stamford. Lovely town, plenty of pubs and places to eat and less than 5 mins from Burghley.
If you'd prefer something with a more rural outlook there are some great places in Rutland. Trying searching around Rutland Water and work outwards from there. I'm local so if you find somwhere you like let me know the details and I'll tell you what I know about it

Thanks for all the replies, just now been informed that weekend of the 12th clashes with my training camp. Next meet I'll get to go to is either a shuttleworth event or the Bespoke Performance open day.
Regards
That's a shame. It is a really big event.Regards
However, the Bespoke event has lots of free food and nearly all the local
active TVR members go to it, so at least try to make that one
I know im very annoyed but its the way it is. I know he Bespoke lads well they've done lots of work to my dads Cerb for me so will be a good catch up if noting else plus I have some wrapping/paint protection to get done just down the road from them so will do that 1st and then pop along killing 2 birds with 1 stone. Im keen to see your Sag as have heard lots about it on the grape vine

Hi Alex,,
Are you anything to do with the event? Do you think the organisers are needing volunteers this year?
Cheers,
Martin

Just a bump to bring this to peoples attention It's been a bit low-profile on here lately.
I may be going daft,( alright, I know I am! ) but I can't seem to find any mention of when the gates to Burghley are actually open. Anyone know???
Anyway, I'm looking forward to the Rumble tomorrow as well as the big gathering on Sunday after a hearty breakfast.
Let's hope the weather plays nicely. Don't forget your Factor 50 sunblock

Glen, that's because everyone has been signing up for the main event (full details in this topic). Apart from the factor 50 don't forget to bring your Cement Works of Europe spotters book
Something else which may interest you and Austin is that I've been contacted by a TVR owner who is bringing a mate on the Rumble. His mate drives a Healey...
