Utterly gobsmacked at the risk of many, many years in jail these people have taken just to get a bike. Crazy.

(And before people start going on about "living somewhere nice" and "...in my village..." - I'd take little comfort in that; thieves can drive cars and travel, you know. If they've got your address then with tactics like those shown they've got your bike. frown )

They could start by looking at the local STi clinic for one of the suspects, who appeared to be holding his testicles whilst the other two retards were bashing the door...

Unfortutenely I don;t think you can class these guys as retards. Wearing masks, gloves, and paper suits, they appeared to know exactly what they were doing with no mucking about.

aholes, yes. But they appear fairly serious...

The crooks will be dead or banged up for a long time soon.

That is a ridiculous level of risk to take just to steal a motorbike. They even abandoned the car. A home invasion with weapons will give you at least a decade in jail.

Let's hope they don't injure anybody on their journey to jail.

Agreed. These are serious people, not scrotes.

Some of us work hard for our stuff and others feel they can simply just take it.

Bet you there's more to this than meets the eye.
You don't go in like that unless you're sending a message. Could be drugs debt or similar or even some form of retribution. This is more than a simple bike theft

Me too, there's no way I would or could get involved with something like that.

I'd give them the keys and possibly offer handjobs.

For sure, unless they believed the bike to be worth much more than it is ?

This sort of stuff worries me greatly. They obviously have scoped the property out, determined that they needed to hide their faces due to CCTV, and knew what they were after (hence leathers, bike etc), and knew there was

My neighbor got done over last Sunday, they left their backdoor open, whilst they were upstairs putting their young son to bed. Came into the property and have their Nissan Quashquai off the driveway along with some other stuff - sounds like a opportunistic theft either way.

This was Manchester as well.

yes

Astonishing, for a bike and an Audi... boggles the mind at the brutality as well (battering ram??).

Seems like just not worth the trouble/risk for the reward, might be something personal involved? (eg did he fire one of them a couple of months ago...?)

I very much doubt it. If it were a drugs debt or similar illegal activity they wouldn't have reported it to the police.

The police also wouldn't be so keen to promote the crime as a priority if they were dodgy, regardless of what they can prove.

The level of violence doesn't seem especially unusual in Manchester, nor any other city I guess, for a keys type theft.

A friend of mine was hit on head with a hammer as he put the keys in his front door so they could take his RS6 whilst a friend of a friend was slashed with a Stanley knife for the keys to his BMW.

Worrying times though.....
