Anyone had dealings with these guys?

Am considering a car they have in stock, but just wanted to see if anyone on here had used them.

TIA.

Myself and a friend both visited in 2011 to have test drives.
Very friendly, willing service, happy to accommodate and the chap had good knowledge of both cars, plus they allowed us to drive wherever we wished rather than a fixed route.

Another friend went through the full process, again in 2011, buying a Clio 172 from them. He had nothing but praise during his purchase. He had a couple of problems during the warranty period which were sorted swiftly and correctly so he rated their after sales, too.

Whether or not things have changed since then remains to be seen, I suppose.

Whether it would make a difference, they are owned by the Robinsons garage network smile

As Darren said they're effectively just selling the trade ins from Robinsons

Bought from them earlier this year - no bother at all, wasn't able to get a huge amount off the sale price but it was fairly keenly priced to start with.

Didn't end up buying there, but looked at a car a couple of years ago.

As mentioned above, very friendly and professional. If they had the right car for sale, I'd have no hesitations in buying from them.

As above really. Sometimes the cosmetic prep can be a bit patchy, so view carefully, as main dealer style showroom and group ownership might induce an unnecessarily high level of confidence in the standard of the car.

Thanks for the responses folks!

Picked up the car last night, all very straight forward.

Arrived Saturday for a test drive, got chucked the keys and told to take as long as I needed.

Deal done, not a lot of movement on price but got a a couple of things thrown in. No hard sell of extras.

Certainly happy with how I've been dealt with so far and pleased with the car.

Would be happy to hear your experience Whatty.

Good point!

After getting my fingers majorly burnt on a £1k shed of an Alfa, decided to spend a bit more on an Octavia Vrs.

So far so good. At least all 4 wheels are still on it!

So the car throws a warning light up at me (control system for exhaust gases).

Autodevotion take the car back, chuck me a courtesy car and tell me they'll give me a call.

Get said phone call the next morning. Carbon canister found to be defective, replaced and collect the car at your earliest convenience!

Top marks to them!

Indeed, it is a lovely thing.

Didn't have £30k going spare and find my self needing more than 2 seats :-(

Took a pic of the car, will see if I can dig it out.
