Hi mike. Rather than hijack Nicks thread

Doing good thank matey, still into cars and tempted by Steve's 450..... but you cant piz backwards. Running a mint 1974 TR6 at the moment, its a bit tame but a proper British sports car.

The TR club is a bit quiet, but you know me, I am trying my best to liven things up!
what you up to?

Be good to see you back in a Tiv Darren. Remember Lidfest and still have the sticker on the Griff - they still can't get decent numbers.
Like the TR6 reg!

I had a TR6 before I got into TVR's .. they are OK but some of the quality of the parts and the build quality of Triumphs can be shocking.

When I was at Brands for the classic F1 masters - there was quite a few TR6's but looking at the panel gaps was shocking. Still on the plus side they are great for wind ing the hair motoring and the noise is pretty good too.

You haven't changed then Alan, still critical of anything that isn't yours or your idea.... and this from a man that did THIS to a SEAC

painted with a mop and detailed with an emulsion brush, a great idea very poorly executed.

Reminds me why I logged out long ago and didn't come back spin

I loved all my TVRs but at the moment I love my TR6, you don't have to like it and frankly I dont give a fk

Ran a TR6 for 16 years, 10 of which it was my only car. MWR111K where are you now? If the TVR turns out as reliable I'll be somewhat surprised. The TR was a great car, fun, fast for its age and you still can buy every part off the shelf. In 16 years it never let me down. I love my Wedge and it's V8 but the TR6 was my first love. If I had to chose which had the better build quality then sorry but the TVR fails miserably but then again they did build something like 88,000 TR6's.

Sorry mate - did not mean to offend.

Just my experience of a TR. Probably got a bad one.
