I hope you can get cheaper than that... You can get pre-made good ridge hoses for around a hundred including VAT ...

be careful with ebay Goodridge TVR S kits - they are not for the S series, but for a classic TVR which came out with an S derivitive

£80 + VAT per set based on five purchases but with a club deal they will sell as one and post to one location.

I'm happy to post on individually, though I can't find my receipt for posting my hoses to them, sure it was £3/4.

It needs to be a minimum purchase of five sets and I'd need the money upfront.

Also have to say again that these are modelled on my hoses and I can't be sure of compatibility with your S.

Confirm interest and once we have the right numbers I'll get something sorted.

Edited to add, I may be visiting Exactly TVR a week Friday so I could swing past on the way home and cut postage from them to me if numbers confirmed in time.

Would you be able to confirm the lengths you are getting, as well as the fitting types on each end please?

I'm just stripping mine down now, so will be able to check what my car has fitted.

Cheers

I've asked for the braided section on the fronts to be 500mm with a grommet to go into the bracket.

I've emailed asking for confirmation of fittings, they're not too hot on replying but I've been too busy during working hours to call.

If people would rather i'll pay for my set and confirm that they fit, but then five will be required excluding mine and I'll have to pay full price, will mine be better than yours because they cost more? confused

hi, have just used Derick at Stevson for replacement ss braided hoses for my v8s. I gave him all the lengths i wanted & assumed all x8 hoses were M10x1 metric. The set cost £108 all in vat & p&p. Great, quick, service. However when they arrived, i found out that the innner flexible hose at the rear is 3/8"unf at both ends (after i had removed the old ones) Anyhow, called Stevson and he told me to return them & he would alter them. He did this for no charge & i am just waiting for their arrival.

So in summary for a V8S x6 hoses are M10x1 both ends, x2 hoses the two inner rear hoses are 3/8"UNF. Note that Stevson only use Stainless steel fittings. You will need to use old crimp washers or buy new ones to stop the fittings rotating!

£95 + Postage + VAT

Needs to be five for order. I can wait until after Christmas but they have my set made up and are probably getting annoyed with them being sat on the shelf so need to do something soon.

Just found this useful snippet on our forum section...

...plus my question; is it better to get the callipers refurbished whilst I am sorting the brakes, or is it cheaper to replace them?
What ford part are they?

Answers together with a list of best suppliers please...

Can you remove me from the list....I couldn't wait and so got a couple of bespoke front hoses from Hel for £49, and will deal with the backs later....

If you get a grommet on the front hoses to use the hole onto the hub area, mine need the hole to be enlarged to 15mm diameter...so you will have to do what I did and order a 15mm drill bit from eBay..
