Adaptive Xenons not swivelling

Relatively long time lurker, but always look in here
2007 A4 Avant 3.0tdi Tiptronic

Earlier this year a fault appeared on the headlights and Audi dealer replaced the control units for both lights. Then since then the level sensor has packed up(rear one).
So, are the issues related? Will the level sensor failure cause the lights to stop swivelling as the car turns? Or could it be that the control units are incorrectly fitted. Or just coincidence?
Would like to have an idea before I speak to the dealer if necessary
