Spotted this for sale a few weeks ago on Pistonheads and decided to upgrade the bumper on my 2007 V8 Roadster to the current Bumper & Carbon Fibre splitter

The only problem is that you also have to replace the wheel arch liners and front under tray, so ordered these new parts from the AM dealer and decided to replace the existing 8 bar Bright Finish Grille with a new 6 bar Carbon Black grille.
The newer style bumper came off a 2013 spec model year which had holes for front parking sensors, my car does not have, so the the AM approved bodyshop filled them prior to repainting

The work was carried out at the AM approved bodyshop in Edinburgh who fitted my N400 sills and N420 Carbon fibre rear diffuser/front lip last year

Asked the bodyshop to paint the grilles on the bonnet black as well to match the new front Carbon Black Grille / Splitter

Job done

The AM bodyshop had not done this upgrade before, but they said it is an easy upgrade.

front under tray
excellent job, makes the car look very fresh indeed.

just checking that you retro adapted the letterbox in the undertray for oil cooler airflow. As you are probably aware, 4.3L has oil cooler whereas 4.7L does not meaning the 4.7L undertray does not have cut out for (exit) airflow.

Yes, forgot to mention that for people upgrading in the future.
The new V8 Vantage S undertray that was fitted has to be modified to replicate the "Letter Box" cut out on the existing under tray.

The 4.7 does not have an oil cooler?

Sorry but didn´t understand, both undertray are equal with same holes for bolts so I don´t understand why you buy this one and make the letter box cut to it, why you dont just stay with the old one?

The 4.3 has a air oil cooler system.
The 4.7 has a water oil cooler system and dont require air flow.

Looks great. I've just done the same thing to my 06 Vantage... Haven't had a chance to put photos up yet.
Well done!

Sorry for reviving an old thread, but I'm interested in doing this too - why is a new undertray required?

I purchased the parts required individually at the time (2014), but AM now do a full kit (for both front and back bumper replacement)
The kit content lists a new undertray (and also the note about modifying the new undertray for the oil cooler air outlet)

If it doesn't need it then that's a bonus

Of course the BIG problem fitting the new style bumper and Carbon Fibre splitter is you get a taste for it and do not stop.
Since 2014 I have now fitted full Carbon fibre side sills (as fitted to AMR GT3 race cars) V12S lightweight wheels and a V12S bonnet.

So be warned it is addictive!!!!!!!!
