Hi everyone.
S3C engine revs better by rechecking distributor timing.
However, the power feel is not good.
Catalytic pipes melted and I had to get rid of melted catalyzer.
So exhaust pressure is lower than normal, especially at low rpm.
Removed catalyzer coused such a low power feel or unstable idle?

And for automotive inspection like a MOT,I need new catalytic pipes.
How can I get new pipes?

Thanks a lot

I have no idea about your MOT's or the like but in the UK even S3c passes without cat.

They are available from http://www.actproducts.co.uk/product/sjc04-tvr-s3c... but as they are priced for one, you may be required to get more than your wallet out!

Edited to add, my S3c is running fine without cats.

....agreed. In the UK we are legally allowed to remove the cats if the car is older than a certain age.

Most S3Cs here have removed them and run fine...plus they sound better too

...perhaps your running problem is linked to another reason...there tend to be many other reasons to choose from... wink

I'm surprised it developed enough heat to melt the cats....good excuse to get rid of them
