I know this might be Mission Impossible but does anyone have a pair of rear trailing arms for an S2 for sale??

If you have rough ones they can be refurbished by Adrian Venn in Coventry as he has made jigs to do this accurately. I can vouch for his excellent work as he did this for one of my trailing arms this year.

+1 for Adrian wouldn't even consider using anyone else, he even gives you a new set of bolts and nyloc nuts for refitting within the price and this is an unusual size that is so hard to come by.

AND those are S3 Arms that will mean that If you are running OE non ride height adjustable shocks they will need changing too!
