My car is having a major over winter fettling. It's currently with Joolz having every it's mechanicals sorted then it's off to RT for a body off chassis refurb. I then plan to have a full retrim so I'm looking for first hand recommendations of suitable people to do the job. It's a dear job and I want to be sure I'm not some thousands lighter and disappointed at the end of it.

If what you have to say is critical and breaches the posting rules please feel free to PM me.

D&C Trim is the go-to place for that from what I've heard. I think they're ex factory employees and know everything there is to know about TVR interiors. Might be a bit of a waiting list.

PS before and after pics are mandatory in these cases smile

Certainly "after" pics are very welcome.

Had a price from the first place I contacted. I can only assume they are busy and don't need the work. When the retrim is coming in at within a few hundred quid of 5 weeks work on a full suspension and chassis refurb then something is wrong.

Got my Griff retrimmed back in September by John Giddings (Trim Technician)
Well pleased with the results, pics via the link on my profile.

Took a bit longer than planned due to unforeseen circumstances, but was happy with the price.

I think you'll find a Cerb to be a bit more expensive than other models whenn it comes to interiors - a bit more work involved for a full retrim and a lot more complex dashboard.

ETA - just seen your profile Fatjon - that is some collection of motors! thumbup

I have to say that the pics of the Central TVR retrim on their site are pretty impressive, they are also a grand cheaper than my earlier quote. But pictures can lie. Anyone around who has had work done by them and can vouch for the quality?

The John Giddings job is also pretty good so that one is in the mix too.

Central TVR.....checkout the red Cerbera SP6 on their website,i have seen that car,its Adrians own car and the interior is superb. Also a buddy of mine has had his Cerb re-trimmed there in a similar style and its spot-on.
I have just had a great deal of work done on my Cerb there including a full set of new wool carpets....great job.

+1 for Adrian at Central. I had the Red S6 Cerbera as a courtesy car while mine was in for some work last month.
The quality of the interior re-trim is spot on.

Maybe a bit late but would suggest you look at Trim Unique.

Lee worked at TVR from 1995. He was a specialist Cerbera trimmer for 5 years and was selected by Peter SWheeler to trim the Motorshow Tuscans.

John did a great job on my Tuscan interior in leather and alcantara at a pretty good price.

John at The Trim Technician replaced my Tuscan's carpets and did a grand job. I'm definitely using him again to re-carpet the Cerbera if I can get it running long enough to take to Blackpool.
