My car is being retrimmed and i am also getting a new dash. Green LED's in the dials.

X-Works have built the dash for me and also moved the battery, ( new race battery fitted ), and fuse box too.

The battery is now behind the drivers seat and fuse box is behind the pax seat. These will be hidden under a flap when the car is re-trimmed.

Hampy - Yes.....Brushed ali. with circular brush effect.

The battery and fuse box looks like an excellent idea Andy. Can't wait to see it on completion.

Seems to be the best mod the fuse and battery move as those cubby holes behind the seats were redundant. Easy access the fuses relays battery removal and 6 inches of extra leg room.

Coming along nicely. Was hoping to pick it up before Christmas but I reckon that's doubtful now due to timescales. It'll be very tidy once completed. I also have another couple of mods done to improve it. You'll be amongst the first to see it once completed.

Hallo Portzi,

Great idea regarding the fuseebox
Do you have any additional pictures you can share or info where the loom goes.
I was thinking in the same route but the wires were just too short.
If any info you can send hamada@planet.nl

Thanks in advance Hans.

Like Hans I would love some more details... I am looking at relocating the battery and fuse-box like this and have sent the link to this post to Warren at Topcats to see what he thinks since he has mine in his workshop at the moment smile

Off topic I know, but Bomb, what battery did you use behind the drivers seat? Looks like a very smalle one so it does fit. Does it have enough cranking power ?

Ronald.

Its an Odyssey Racing battery and it should have enough beans to deal with my piddly 5l lump. the cabling has been uprated (40mm ) to assist. I have a battery conditioner hard wired to the battery so when its in the garage it can be plugged in so the battery will be kept in good order.

The loom gets pulled out and made straight then its routed down the centre tunnel. I do not have any more pictures at the moment as the work is being carried out at a specialist TVR garage ( X Works ) and its quite a way from where I live.

Portzi - it seems my PM never got to you. If you PM me, I will respond. For some reason my PM's won't get delivered.
