M62 Speed cameras (again)

Hi all

First post on the forum....

I know there are a few threads on the M62 J25-30 speed cameras, I use that road everyday and in the last week ive noticed between 27-28 the gantry cameras are going mad!!!

Ive seen people flashed everyday now, whereas before it was a very rare occurance to see it happening.

I think I may have been flashed whilst doing 80 but also whilst doing 68-70 whilst going under a gantry that was flashing 60. The funny thing is, the gantry before and after had no speed limits flashing and the traffic was quite with no incidents on the road (it was about 730pm) How the hell are you meant to know what to do when just gantry is flashing?

Has there been any police announcement about making the cameras more sensitive leading upto Christmas?

Doesnt "no flashing" indicate NSL is in place?

The 62's getting ridiculous now anywhere between Leeds and Huddersfield it's crawling with cameras. Haven't been caught myself yet (more by luck than judgement) but our lass has been nabbed twice. Both times late at night with a variable limit in effect. Proper annoying. And when are they going to finish the 'upgrades'. I come onto it every day at Tingley and that junction has had a feeder lane added, then removed, traffic lights added to the slip road then taken off... lights fitted at the roundabout (24 hour operation!!!) and now a 'pinch point' improvement that has taken the thick end of two years.

i myself got flashed exactly a week ago when no speed limit was displayed on the overhead gantries, definitely got flashed twice however got no nip yet fingers crossed
