...The best Aston concept I have seen is the fan made DBC - although probably not appropriate for Bond.
Curious,so I googled it...
I agree, not really that appropriate for James Bond, he's getting too old eh!?

I'm not sure I like it - the front end looks weird and the rear looks like the f-type (not a bad thing per-se - but not original either). The proportions from the side look somehow off......can't quite put my finger on why, the bonnet seems too long?!?

All well and good making a rendering.... I'm sure it meets absolutely no regulations to ever make it to production.

I think the DBC concept looks far better. This car has a "Ford GT-90 concept" feel about it IMO.

Then again - given it's shape - it would make a good replacement for a remake of the submarine Esprit scene. biggrin

I've already given my opinions on that in another thread. And they weren't positive.

Maybe the fact that this is the first moving video we've seen of the car which gives us a much better look at it?

Typical bloody arrogant PH response.

I can't get over the lack of harmony between the grille and the horizontal split line; it is two different cars: above Ferrari 430, below Aston. It is really messed up. At least the back, like it or not, is not schizoid like the front.

The back and side profiles are fine, I agree the front is the problem, the grille on an Aston Martin usually is contoured up into the bonnet, on this car its separate down in the fascia and makes it (the grille) look like something of an pasted on afterthought.

That front split line above the grille reminds me of the Lotus Evora.

It looks better in that short vid than it does in any of the stills I've seen but I still don't think it's quite right. The back end is very clumsy and the massive low grill on the front is just ugly. But the profile is lovely. It's a proper curate's egg of a car.
