Seen a silver one parked in Edinburgh city centre yesterday, looked amazing and was certainly attracting a lot of attention.

I really like these, and white is not the best colour.

One question, I've managed to view one in the flesh close up and climbed in and out of it a couple of times..what's the consensus on the wide sill and drop down into the seat, I could imagine it becomes a real PITA, especially when wearing a suit on a rainy day (and having to sit on the sill while you swing in)

I was told order today for sept 1st delivery - which doesn't sound to bad ??
It's fine getting in & out once you have the knack - having an Elise for the last 10 years helps! More of a worry is finding a parking space where you can get out - the doors have to be fully open and need about 50cm, you can't squeeze out with the door just ajar like in a conventional car - and then hoping someone doesn't park too close while you're away.

Interesting that they can deliver in September. I ordered mine in July, coming in April, so it seems the waiting time hasn't grown at all, about 8/9 months.

Why anybody would consider one of these over an M4 is beyond me.
better looking, more interesting, quieter, not named after a motorway, more innovation, great for sneaking up on blind people, doesn't have the M car image
The M4 doesn't move things on much from my old M3 E92. This does.

I had a demo overnight and did some 500 miles in it. The car is absolutely stunning and I've ordered one too.

Local dealer round my way seems to have someone strategically drive one round/park it up near office blocks of lawyers etc. round here at work arrive/leave times. Drives in, stays for a few minutes, drives off. Sometimes doesn't even stop, just round the car park and out.

I had a couple of hours in one back in November, on a very wet weekend however the car was bloody superb.

Edit to add: The only thing I didn't like about it was the attention it drew from onlookers......

seen one in Newcastle a couple of moths ago looked great from every angle, sadly seen one that had been smashed last night here in Jeddah looked a right mess
I drove past one in Newcastle a couple of weeks back. I'm not sure I could live with those doors though. I'd feel like some muppet from Fast and Furious getting out of the thing in Asda car park.

Being completely honest, maybe not all the time but I loved the attention - it was crazy.
