Paint peel on that Volvo speedo face?

That K57GTV reg. is ideal for use on a formerly red Alfa Romeo GTV that's now 57 different shades of pink.

have you ever thought of seeing somebody about your Rover problem
I'm similarly afflicted (there's not a lot you can do about it). I quite like the 216GTi if all that mid-nineties tat was ripped off it, steering wheel replaced with an original and raised a cm or two to something approaching stock ride height anyway.

Amusingly grim. Wouldn't want to be seen in it though.

Thanks. I thought it might be, but didn't realise it was a flexible hand pump type deal.

I'm surely alone, but I think this with the spoiler in the bin and in a fantastically deep green would be fking incredible.

No, it's a Nissan 300ZX. It's a Japanese bellend car.
Ignore Robin, he's clearly a clown. The 300zx is a fine looking car although that spoiler is awful.

Anyone can spot the 14 inch alloys.
2 litre twin cam as well so not the best engine in the world either. I had a 2 litre GLSi for about 6 years. I liked it at the time but it wwasn't fast.

Sounds like our experience of Leyland cars too. Pretty much unbustable...

I'd have the orange 300ZX because it's orange and I'd keep the spoiler.

I don't mind either, but given it needs paint I reckon it'd do better in a more subtle guise

Perhaps I shouldn't have subscribed to this thread, I like that and it looks a bit useful. Just as well it's some distance away.

Can this be the only Bluebird that wasn't used as a taxi?!?!?

If that was a 3 door and I wasn't trying to buy a rare old VW in South America, I'd be very tempted to go and buy this. It seems well priced even for a more door, may even be a profit in it!

I like the Supra SZ-R too, strip it out for a different feel to all the mad turbo cars.
^This.

Had a mkiv SZ-R with the 6-speed Getrag box (V160/161). Having owned and driven other mkivs, this was my pick. Loveliest 'snick' to the gearchange, felt very robust and really allowed you to exploit every horsey from the NA engine. Also skidded in a wonderfully predictable, progressive fashion. SZ-R is the most overlooked car in the mkiv range- not the best Supra investment perhaps, but the TTs come with their own issues.

A good quality aftermarket manifold/ exhaust system improved throttle response significantly- surely the whole point of choosing an NA over a TT.

I'd certainly have that mkiv over a similarly priced XR2i, even if it won't appreciate in anything like the same way.

Now is the time to grab a Supra around the £5K point- needs to be a manual (or possibly an Aerotop) though.

It looks good - and sounds genuine (though a search on the reg suggests it was being advertised just over a year ago with slightly more miles for £1500).

I bought an SZ-R also with the 6 speed and my experience was very different.

The box is heavy and slow - as are all gearboxes able to handle 500+bhp

I also found that it's too heavy for 220bhp it just wasn't fun - a pretty car and a nice cruiser with the best heater I've ever experienced.

Unfortunately mine was scruffy so worth more in bits, I sold the gearbox and diff - I still have the rest of it, I was intending to fit a 1UZ as it's easy but I think I'd rather have twice the work and have it in the RX7 which is a better car (when working)

And whilst we're on the subject, XR2, Aussie style...

http://www.carsales.com.au/private/details/Ford-Ca...

I used to own a Starion (about 20yrs ago) mine was a rather nicer black with grey interior, it was a great car, when the turbo finally came in at 3500rpm.

If anyone fancies an Ozzy XR2 my Dad has one, it's not as nice as that one but it's closer to most as it's slowly turning green on his drive in the Midlands.
