Where is your Wideband wired in?

I have realised I made a rookie mistake when fitting my wideband and need to get it sorted before I map the new Ecu. What switched live do you guys use? Is there a spare in the fuseboard?
Fuel pump 12+ from the relay switched output you dont want to get the lambda probe too hot prematurely pre cold start otherwise you will thermally shock it from the cold moisture in the exhaust gases when you fire up (they dont like that) for example you left the ign on for a couple of minutes etc before cranking the way I have suggested is how TVR wired the NB sensors it is the accepted way with manufactures you can always run a jumper/constant/switched live for calibration purposes just a heads up Lewis treat the probe like it was a fragile light bulb because they don't like being knocked about either even engaging the spanner don't smack it about

Cheers I'll change it to the fuel pump relay then
When I was looking for a local switched +12v the easiest place was the stereo, and then after finishing reading the paperwork it recommended not using the radio or cigarette lighter feeds
Just seems like a good time to sort it whilst I'm waiting on the loom

Make sure you ground the WB at the same place as your grouped MS grounds too otherwise you will get funky voltage offsets from differing returns i.e what the MS software says and what your WB gauge says will be different good luck When I was looking for a local switched +12v the easiest place was the stereo, and then after finishing reading the paperwork it recommended not using the radio or cigarette lighter feeds
