Hello,

This may have been covered before, however...

I've got a 325Ci M Sport Coupe.

The outside temp sensor has gone bust. I've unplugged the end sensor part but that has left the wiring (plug) exposed for a while and now it's gone crazy jumping between 50C and -40C every 2 seconds when it gets wet.

I need to replace this part as it's messing with climate control and the inside gets unbaringly hot or extremely cold.

I just wanted to know, is it a pain to replace the entire thing? The wiring to the sensor? Where would the other end of the sensor be located?

I know that the sensor is mounted on a splash guard or something but mine is missing and I have no idea how/where to find one + fit it.

Could someone give me some insight with some part numbers/details as to this?>

Thanks

Have a look through http://www.realoem.com/bmw/

You'll have to hunt around in the sub menus a bit but I'm sure it'll be listed.

My temp sensor went loopy last winter too. Local indy swapped in a new one in about half an hour.
