Thermostat - Alfa GT / Vectra / Saab 9-3 compatability

Hi All,

Does anybody know if a Vectra or Saab 150hp Thermostat unit will fit the Alfa GT jtd?

The part numbers arent the same (very similar) but the housings look exceptionally similar and the outlet diamaters all appear to match (working from pictures).

Seeing as they use the same lump I wondered whether I could get away with using a vectra thermostat at half the price of the GT thermostat I need!
