Mods - please leave here for a little while thumbup

Folks, perhaps someone can help me.

In BT's infinite wisdom, they are stopping broadcasting BT Sport and have written advising that we need to get a Google Chromecast, which is fine. However, we only have two HDMI ports in the back of the TV, one of which is HDMI-ARC (I can't use a splitter on that port, as I'm sure it'll bugger up the audio) and the other is connected to the Vision box and I've read various things about whether BT Vision will work through a splitter or not.

Is it possible to convert the HDMI output of the Chromecast to USB and run it through the USB inputs in the TV, or is there an alternative way?

If you aren't using the HDMI-ARC for a soundbar or similar, just use that.

Alternatively, buy one of these http://www.amazon.co.uk/Betron-HDMI-Switcher-Conne... and connect chromecast and vision box to it.

As for converting HDMI to USB? No, won't work.

Actually, scratch that! I forgot that the TV is a smart TV, so I can use the Internet part of it to stream. Doh!

Eta. Thank you, shtu
